190 miles this week, and headed out for a Sunday 70 miler with boys (Mark, Tom and Andy) buoyed by my Friday VO2max test result (will post everybody's data next week). Feeling much stronger on the bike now and 1 hour after arriving home I felt like I could head out and do the same again without to much hassle. Desperately need a bike service now though. My left shifter on the handlebar is broken so spent today stuck in the small ring on the front (fine for the climbing, but I was spinning like mad and bouncing around in the saddle whenever we got over 25mph), plus my brake pads need to be replaced, numerous bits of the bike that should move seem to be seized up and my wheel spokes are a little loose meaning my wheels are now not quite perfectly straight. I think once I get it fixed for training I'll be doubling my efforts in looking for my new bike to complete RAAM on.

Picture is off us at the top of Box Hill on the way home 50 miles down, 20 to go.
