A transcontinental bicycle race starting on the west coast and finishing on the east coast. The race covers 3000 miles across the Rockies, the heartland of America, and finally the Appalachians. It continues to stand as one the toughest events in the world and a tribute to human endurance.

Who are we - Team Human Science are 4 staff from St Mary's University College in Twickenham  www.smuc.ac.uk  Registered Charity Number 1120192.

In additional to 4 cyclists we are supported by a fantastic crew made up of staff from St Mary's UC, University of Wales Institute Cardiff and Warwick Fabrics.

Why? - Why not?! It's a phenomenal personal challenge. But it's not all about us! We are raising money for three charities.
